Botulin toxin, produced by Clostridium botulinum bacteria, is so potent, that it takes about 75 nanograms to kill a person. It is used to produce Botox injections.
It is commonly found in soil, improperly preserved food, especially home-made canned food and the spores can survive the temperature of boiling water.
